Annoucning AJR Election Maps

Back in April of 2014, I began what has become a great love of mine when I created a map of the recent local elections in Amber Valley for AH.Com's OTL Election Maps thread. Just over 2 years later, and in collaboration with my good friends BlamedThande and TheAresProject, what began as a passing interest has expanded to become something that has become somewhat out of place on AH.Com, and something which we have felt for a while needs its own space to grow without worrying about if we're stealing all Ian's server space.

Thus we have begun a move here to DA, launching AJRElectionMaps. For the moment there's only a small selection on there from the US, UK and Sweden, but we'll be looking to upload some of the already created maps and any new ones as and when. In the pipeline already are maps from Switzerland and Malaysia, along with many more for those countries.

I expect Ill still be posting a few electoral maps here- the Expanded Erewash and Long Eaton Urban District Council ones require such a lot of research that I'm not planning on cross-posting any in that style until I've got a finished 'set' (e.g. the whole of Derbyshire done in the Expanded Erewash format), but for anyone who's enjoyed those this new project will be providing plenty more of that.
